Copper Pour Area Creation

Create Copper Graphic Item

1. Open EDWINXP from Start →Programs → EDWinXP Main.
2. Double click on PCB layout.
3. Select the GRID and SNAP accordingly.

4. In the Project Explorer Window open File → Open Project (e.g. COUNTER.epb) to the Layout Editor.

5. Select View → Layout → Active layers.
6. Click Set to Used and Accept .

7. Select Tools → Copper.

8. Select Create copper graphic item (second function tool), Select Create copper pour area (fifth option tool ).
9. Select the Net and the corresponding layer in which copper pour area is to be created.

10. Select the corresponding Net (e.g. Reset) draw the copper pour area

11. In the Project Explorer Window double click on Fabrication Manager .

Viewing Artwork

1. Open Fabrication Manager.
2. Tools →artwork/Power & Gnd planes → Set used to →Accept.
3. Set the centre holes as ½.
