Instant Net Name
Usually when a wire connection is created, system assigns the first free number to the nets. But when this option is enabled, system allows to predefine the net name according to users choice.
For Instant Net name
1.Select
EDWinXP(Main) → Schematic Editor
.
2.Select
Preferences → Instant Net name
3.Using the
Tools | Wires
toolbar, start a wire connection. System instantly pops a window where the name may be specified.
4.Click on
Accept
.
Now every time a new wire/ trace is routed, an input box pops up where the name for the new net may be entered. If this option is disabled, system automatically assigns net name (UN1, UN2…) to the newly made connection.
