Stepper Motor
Schematic Symbol : Stepper motor
Simcode : 100008
A stepper motor transforms electrical pulses into equal increments of rotary shaft motion called steps.
Single coil excitation for clock wise full step operation
Single coil excitation for Clock wise half step operation
Two coil excitation for Clock wise full step operation
Hints:
-
Full step angle is 7.2 degree
-
Half step angle is 3.6 degree
-
Maximum supply is 15 volt
-
Minimum supply is 10 volt
-
Maximum current through coil is 500mA
-
Minimum current for energizing coil is 50mA
-
Anti clock wise rotation is possible by reversing the order of sequence
