The presence of a wire if it is left dangling or if a wire is connected to single node, can now be tested with the Autocheck option in the Layout Editor. The steps for the execution of the test is as follows.

• Load the project
• Invoke the Layout editor
• Choose Autocheck from Auto menu
• The Autocheck setup will be popped up as below

Select the Global test report tab 

• Click on Execute
• The test report is generated. The information of the single node net can be viewed from Redundancy Check/ Invalid nets. The problem will be indicated asSingle node net.
  
  
  
• The output can be obtained as a text file by selecting Output report to file option.
