Running EDWinXP in user mode windows accounts
This problem occurs when your file system in system drive "say C:" is NTFS.NTFS is high secure file system which blocks the accessing of certain system files by programs.
This Problem is not specific to
EDWinXP
. This can happen with many programs.
This can be overcome by the following commands
1. How to run this command?
This command can be run only in Administrator mode.
From
start->run type "cmd"
This shows the
command
window
Type “
cd
\” here
Type the following command here
CACLS %systemroot%\System32\*.dll /E /G BUILTIN\Users:R
Press enter now
CACLS %systemroot%\System32\*.ocx /E /G BUILTIN\Users:R
Press enter now
Note: You can copy and paste the command rather than typing it.
Now run
EDWinXP
.
This command gives access to the required
system dll
for the users too and now user will also be able to run programs which requires access to
system dlls
